Winter Raffle 2021

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

    1 for $25.00; 1000 tickets
    2 for $40.00; 2000 tickets

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: December 30, 2021 at 11:59:00 p.m. PST

    Draw
    Raffle draw: December 31, 2021 at 12:00:00 p.m. PST

    The draw will be livestreamed via Zoom at:

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://kidneyfoundationbcy.rafflenexus.com/winners on December 31, 2021.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Kidney Foundation, BC & Yukon.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Kidney Foundation, BC & Yukon or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

    Kidney Foundation, BC & Yukon does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

This includes funding and stimulating innovative research, promoting access to high quality health care, providing education and support, and increasing public awareness and commitment to advancing kidney health and organ donation.

    No. Ticket numbers are computer-generated in ascending order starting at a pre-determined number.
  4. When are the deadlines for ticket sales?
    Final Sales Deadline: Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.
  5. What are the odds of winning?
    Chances are 1 in 3,000 (total tickets for sale) to win a prize. Actual odds depend on number of tickets sold.
  6. Will my name and personal information be safe?
    All personal ticket information is the sole property of the Kidney Foundation, BC & Yukon and will be confidential, nor will it be sold or solicited for any other purpose.
  7. How do I receive my ticket/s?
    Ticket buyers will receive by email their payment receipt and a digital stub listing all the numbers associated the purchased package.
  8. Can I win more than one prize?
    Yes, once your name is drawn it goes back into the lottery pool and there is a chance your name can be drawn again.
  9. Are raffle tickets tax-deductible?
    No official tax receipt will be issued for the Winter Raffle 2021 in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency guidelines.
  10. Am I able to get a refund?
    All ticket sales are final. There will be no refunds issued to anyone for any reason. All tickets purchased and entered into the draw cannot be refunded, including if ticket purchasers made an error in selecting the number of tickets they wished to purchase.
